Our Story

Driftwood Dragon was born in Kīpahulu, East Maui — one of the last truly remote places in Hawaiʻi.

There are no lumberyards here. No supply chains. No shortcuts.

The materials dictate everything.

Jungle hardwood slabs are air-dried, milled slowly, and finished by hand to reveal their natural depth and figure. The legs are deep red Spanish cedar driftwood, collected by foot from a rugged, dangerous coastline where the ocean does its own sculpting.

Each leg arrives already shaped.

Twisted. Tapered. Polished by sand. Hardened by sun and salt.

No two are ever alike — and no two tables ever will be.

Driftwood Dragon tables are not built from templates. They are composed — one piece at a time — guided by the shape, balance, and story of the wood itself.
